Steel shooting is extremely addictive and we have found that those shooters that begin plinking at steel targets often venture into the competitive world that Steel Challenge and Scholastic Steel Challenge provide. The latter gives us a platform to train beginning shooters as well as our youth safe gun handling practices with the alternative of shooting 22 rimfire handguns. The 22 allows the shooter to concentrate on basic shooting fundamentals without the noise and recoil that can intimidate first time shooters. Our static steel targets (particularly our Create-a-Target system) allow you to decide exactly what you want to shoot at. They are easily transported and set up in seconds so that you can spend your time shooting and honing your skills and not on set-up and tear down or pasting paper targets. All we can say is try it and you too will be hooked! We are here to answer any questions you may have. We make all of the standards, swingers, drop-turners, poppers as well as several proprietary designs that we have come up with. We will also make anything you can come up with on a custom basis. All of our impact surfaces are made of AR500 steel 3/8 of an inch in thickness. Our stands and other peripheral parts are made of carbon steel to keep prices reasonable. AR500 is abrasive resistant steel and is the industry standard as it is armor plating.
